Flora's House is a self catering holiday cottage situated in the small sheep farming community of Kenmore on the Applecross peninsula. The cottage enjoys spectacular views over the sea loch towards the Torridon mountains and is fully equipped and comfortable throughout with an open coal fire and wood burning stove. There are 2 bathrooms (One being en-suite) and 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 5. It is a fantastic retreat and is ideal for all outdoor pursuites. This coatline is renowned for it's sceanic beauty and abundance of wildlife. Rented out throughout the year - come and enjoy a stay at this cosy cottage, as it is a wonderful place to get back to nature.

The cottage was converted from a substantially stone built croft house in 1979 into a well-designed family dwelling. It stands in a prime position elevated alongside Kenmore burn, commanding fantastic views over Loch Torridon towards Beinn Alligin, Liathach and Beinn Eighe. There are ten houses in the township of Kenmore. There is a public telephone nearby within the township.

The cottage is fully equipped and comfortable throughout and will sleep from two to five people Maximum. Ideal for two couples with a child. There are three bedrooms in the house. (1-double, 1 twin & 1 Single). The very small single bedroom is accessed through the main double bedroom. ( ideal for a child). There are two bathrooms, (one being en-suite). Downstairs in the sitting room there is an open baxi grate fire & a wood- burning stove in the dining room. Coal & Peat are provided for the open fire in the sitting room. (It is a very cosy cottage). ** Making this an ideal retreat to get away from the stress of modern day living.**

Further details outdoors:
Within the shelter of the two porches at the front of the cottage there is a paved patio area with picnic table - so visitors can enjoy alfreso meals. To the side of the cottage is a small grass area with enough room for a couple of deck chairs to be errected in order to take in the glorious views.

Just outside the boundary fence you will find a heavy duty washing line and to the rear of the cottage is a narrow store room with an automatic washing machine.

There is ample car parking space adjacent to the garden gate.

Conditions:-
The cottage is let on a weekly basis from 3.00 PM on Saturday and expires at 10.00 am on the last Saturday of the period booked.

The maximum number of persons allowed is five.

Please note that bedding is provided (Duvets & Blankets) but not linen. Please bring your own Duvet covers, Sheets, Pillow cases, Bath Towels and Tea towels.

The cottage is within a sheep farming community, we therefore ask dog owners to be extra vigilant. Dogs are allowed within the cottage, only with the prior arrangement with the owners and on the understanding that they are very well house-trained.
(A maximum of 2 medium sized well trained dogs permitted – please state breed of dog).

The cottage must be left clean and ready for the next occupants by 10.00am on the last Saturday of the Let.

A returnable "Good House Keeping" deposit of £50-00 is charged and will be returned on condition that the cottage and grounds are left neat and tidy and in good order.
